Kinesiology
The underlying concept of kinesiology is that the body has an innate healing energy and is at all times doing it’s best to care for itself, but that some times it needs to be helped into a better position to achieve this care.
Kinesiology is based on the concept that there are energy channels in the body (meridians) that relate to muscles, organs and tissues that make the body a living feeling being.
These energy flows can be evaluated by testing the functioning of the muscles (muscle testing), which in turn reflect the body’s overall state of structural, chemical, or emotional balance. In this way Kinesiology taps into energies that more conventional modalities overlook. Kinesiology looks beyond symptoms. Kinesiology does not treat named diseases nor does it diagnose them, it is concerned in imbalances in the body’s energy.
This energy balancing which is at the heart of kinesiology may be involved with identifying a nutritional lack or excess, clearing a negative emotional state, relieving pain, improving mental and physical coordination, or releasing genetic weaknesses. Kinesiology is not limited to dealing with illness. Energy balances brings a person closer to achieving any goal of their choice – in sport, relationships, coping with life generally, the potential is endless.
